Day 2: Explore Banff and Experience the Banff Gondola
Discover the beauty, history, and wildlife of Banff National Park on this guided sightseeing tour. Along the way, you'll visit some of Banff's most iconic landmarks, including the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner Lookout, the Hoodoos Viewpoint, Lake Minnewanka, and Two Jack Lake. Travelling along scenic Tunnel Mountain Drive offers spectacular views of the Bow River Valley. Throughout the tour, keep an eye out for wildlife in its natural habitat; in this area, grizzly bears, back bears, elk, bighorn sheep, moose and wolves all roam free. The tour also includes admission to the Banff Gondola for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Rocky Mountains. Complimentary maple cookies and fresh water or hot chocolate (during winter months) is provided at one of the scenic stops.
Day 3: At Leisure in Banff, Heart of the Rockies

Day 4: From Banff to Jasper with Columbia Icefield Adventure
Discover Canada's most scenic mountain roadway, The Icefields Parkway. This is the route to over one hundred visible glaciers, turquoise lakes including Lake Louise, and rushing waterfalls. Venture onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier in a specially designed Ice Explorer for a spectacular Ice Age adventure. Then, get ready to experience the Columbia Icefield Skywalk. Step out onto a glass-floored observation platform extending 30 metres out over the Sunwapta Valley for an unobstructed view of the surrounding glaciers.

As you travel west and south, you are surrounded by the dramatic scenery of the Continental Divide and the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains. Today's highlights include the climb over the Yellowhead Pass, Pyramid Falls, Mount Robson, at 3,954 meters (12,972 feet), the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, and the sights along the North Thompson River as you approach Kamloops in the evening. Day 6: Rocky Mountaineer from Kamloops to Vancouver
Today is another early morning departure as you travel west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today's journey, you can see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Cascade and Coast Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.
