Phu My To Saigon Street Food And Ben Thanh Market
This flavorful Ho Chi Minh City shore excursion from Phu My Port is the perfect way to experience the authentic tastes and vibrant culture of southern Vietnam. Combining iconic street food, local markets, and immersive culinary experiences, this tour offers a delicious introduction to Saigon's famous food scene.
Your journey begins at Phu My Port, one of the main cruise gateways to Ho Chi Minh City, where your expert guide welcomes you for a comfortable transfer into the heart of Vietnam's largest city. Along the way, enjoy views of the bustling countryside and urban landscapes that make this region so fascinating.
Dive into local life at Ho Thi Ky Market, one of Saigon's most popular food markets, where you'll discover the flavors and traditions that define Vietnamese cuisine. Learn how to prepare and roll crispy Vietnamese pancakes filled with savory ingredients, fresh herbs, and delicate rice paper, and then enjoy tasting your creation just like a local.
Continue your culinary adventure with a stop at a traditional street food vendor to sample Vietnam's famous Banh Mi. Packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, this beloved sandwich is a must-try for any food lover visiting Ho Chi Minh City.
No Vietnamese food tour would be complete without coffee. Enjoy a refreshing cup of salted coffee, a unique local specialty that perfectly balances rich coffee flavors with a creamy, lightly salted finish. You'll also savor a delicious bowl of Pho, Vietnam's iconic noodle soup and one of the country's most celebrated culinary treasures.
The experience continues with free time at Ben Thanh Market, one of Ho Chi Minh City's most famous landmarks. Browse local goods, souvenirs, handicrafts, and regional specialties while soaking up the lively atmosphere of this historic marketplace.
With transportation, expert guiding, authentic food tastings, lunch, and market visits included, this Phu My shore excursion delivers exceptional value and a memorable taste of Vietnam. Convenient round-trip transportation from Phu My Port ensures a smooth and stress-free day, making this an excellent choice for cruise guests seeking culture, cuisine, and local experiences in Ho Chi Minh City.
Walking remains close to the vehicle parking area. However, guests should be prepared to maneuver steps, enter and exit the vehicle independently, and walk on various types of surfaces without assistance.
