Whale Watching Adventures - Standard is 2.5hrs Enjoy the awesome sightings of whales, glaciers, bears, and other mammals from our custom built whale watching fleet. Depending on your group size, our vessels can comfortably carry between 4 and 19 passengers. All vessels are equipped with a heated cabin and bathroom. Whales, Bears and Glacier Adventure - 6.75hrs This tour is considered the best combination that Southeast Alaska has to offer! It combines 2.5 hours of whale watching, 2 hours of brown bear viewing, and a 30 minute flight-seeing trip over the Juneau Icefield. Observe the process, from egg to release. Inside, there are beautiful reef aquariums full of native Alaskan sea life, with various kinds of fish, crabs, sea stars, mollusks, urchins - lots of different animals on two entire walls of tanks. There is also a giant, floor-to-ceiling aquarium in the shape of a circle, and you can walk all the way around it. Very cool A great place to bring kids! ¾. The hatchery has a ladder for the wild salmon to climb on their way to their final spawning. ¾They are corraled into large pools so full they barely have room to move, are actively jumping out of the water, and are easily visible to visitors. Then, the hatchery staff takes control and helps them along. ¾They milk the salmon, let the eggs hatch into a controlled environment, and when the babies are the right size, they are released back into the river to do their thing. ¾In five years or so, those same salmon already know to come back to this hatchery for their last fling
