8-Night Reykjavík To Dublin 09/14/25 on World Traveller
FOLKLORE & ARCHITECTURE
Iceland's natural beauty and rich folklore come together at Isafjörður's Naustahvilft Mountain, where legend has it a troll hurrying to get home before sunrise to avoid being turned to stone sat at its peak, creating the flat top. The Church of Akureyri inspires the imagination with an architectural design resembling a 1920s U.S. skyscraper on the outside and bas-reliefs on the inside. Waterfalls abound in Seyðisfjörður, where scenes like the Fjarðarheiði mountain pass and Hengifoss beckon you and your fellow explorers to strap on your boots for an invigorating hike. From Tórshavn, follow the paths to the villages of Klaksvík and Gjógv, where a heritage deeply rooted in fishing culture still flourishes. Wandering the cobbled streets of Kirkwall transports you and fellow explorers back to Norse times, leading to a medieval cathedral where, according to local lore, miracles took place. Lews Castle of Stornoway captivates the attention with its lavish, Tudor-style architecture.

Our History
Atlas Ocean Voyages was established in September 2019 and is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are the US subsidiary of Mystic Invest Holding, a leader in the travel and tourism sector that is based in Portugal, making Atlas the first ocean cruise line to sail under the Portuguese flag. Mystic Invest Holding has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and travel, including river cruises, tours and attractions.
We debuted our first yacht, World Navigator®, in August 2021 and since then have been leaders in luxury expedition cruising as the first to embark on year-round expeditions.
Intimate Yachting Expeditions™
With year-round expeditions for every season, we offer an adventure for every kind of explorer. Our Cultural Expeditions by Atlas™ take guests on journeys through vibrant history, art, architecture, folklore and local communities of Northern Europe, Iceland, South America and the Caribbean, as well as aboard Transoceanic expeditions. Polar Expeditions by Atlas™ are made for intrepid spirits who love a challenge, exploring the furthest reaches of the Earth in Antarctica, Patagonia and the Falklands, the High Arctic of Svalbard, Norway and Greenland. Aboard Epicurean Expeditions by Atlas™, culinary and wine connoisseurs will dive deep into the cuisine cultures of Italy, Spain, France, the Greek Isles and hidden gems amid the Mediterranean. It all happens together in good company aboard intimate yachts.
Our Intimate Yachts
Our yachts are Polar Category C- and Ice Class 1B-certified, made to explore both the icy waters of Antarctica and warm seas of the Mediterranean. Their small size allows us to traverse hidden gems and remote destinations that the large cruise ships cannot, as well as navigate narrow waterways like the Corinth Canal in Greece and Guadalquivir River in Spain. Purpose-built with a hydro-jet propulsion system that allows us to cruise virtually silently, we can follow the migrations of marine life while keeping the sensitive ecosystem in mind. Realizing the possibilities of environmental stewardship with the latest hybrid power management and maximizing fuel efficiency, we reduce our impact on the environment so that we can all enjoy the natural marvels of our world.
With fewer than 200 guests on board and an ambiance of relaxed luxury, like-minded spirits are encouraged to bond and create a special camaraderie with their fellow explorers. A nearly 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio of officers, staff and crew who are just as passionate about travel as our explorers makes for highly attentive service that comes from a place of genuine connection.
